Top Gear Do Space

To those of you who don’t get the BBC Top Gear is car program that has been going for decades now which has become known for doing outrageous stunts with cars. This week they’ve just raised the bar a million miles by trying to launch a car (a Reliant Robin) into space!
I am so naive – did they really do that?
Yup!
Like I said they are known for their dramatic car-related stunts!

I can’t imagine what there budget was for this project. It was such a pity that the release got stuck though, I would have loved to have seen the remote control flying Reliant Robin!
Me and Fona watched it too, it was fantastic! We figured it wouldnt work because something that cool would definitely have been in the news, but we were still hoping that they’d done it and not advertised the fact to keep the surprise 🙂
It looked stunning, all the way up to the failure to seperate, and the disappointment you could see in the guys’ faces was heartbreaking.
